The Queen of England - is the head of the state. She is involved in political and social life of the country, performing duties imposed on her by the law, participating in various ceremonies and representing Britain around the world.

Queen Elizabeth II was born in April 21, 1926 and was named Elisabeth-Marie-Alexandra in honor of her mother, grandmother and great-grandmother by the father. The child was so charming that soon became a favorite of not only the entire royal family, but also the British public.

Queen Elizabeth has four children: Charles - the heir to the throne, Anne, Andrew and Edward. The ancestors of the Queen can be traced back to pre-Norman Kings century.
