The Kazan Kremlin is the main treasury of the Republic of Tatarstan. The Kazan Kremlin has entered the UNESCO World Heritage List as one of the unique pearls of world culture. The Kazan Kremlin is one of the most beautiful architectural ensembles in RussiaThe Kremlin is the pride of the capital of Tatarstan. This is the only living Tatar fortress in the world, and today it serves as the center of statehood, as well as the southernmost example of the Pskov style in Russia.

The first from the corner on the northern fortress wall is the Taynitskaya travel tower — the main entrance to the Kremlin from the northwest side. Originally named Nikolskaya, the Tainitskaya Tower was erected in the XVI century on the site of the Nur-Ali tower which was blown up during the siege of Kazan by the Terrible.
The Spasskaya Tower with the gate church of the Saviour of the Miraculous Image is the main entrance to the Kremlin, located in the center of the southern section of the fortifications. It was built in 1556-1562 . By Postnik Yakovlev and Ivan Shiryai.
The Governor's Palace was built in 1845-1848 as the house of the "military governor with rooms for imperial apartments" designed by the famous architect K.A. Ton. Its construction was supervised by architect A.I. Peske. Laid down in 1845 and completed at the end of 1848.

The Syuyumbeki Tower is the architectural emblem of the city. Its name is associated with the name of the Tatar queen Syuyumbeki - the wife of the last two Kazan khans. It was built in the second half of the XVII-early XVIII centuries.On the earliest plans of the city of the XVIII century, it is shown as the entrance to the courtyard of the commandant's house, which stood on the site of the "old tsarev court", where the ruins of the khan's palace were adapted by the Kazan voivodes for warehouses of gunpowder, saltpeter and lead.
The Annunciation Cathedral is the largest structure of the Kazan Kremlin and the oldest surviving stone buildings of Kazan, located in the center of the complex. It was built in 1561-1562 by Pskov craftsmen led by Postnik Yakovlev and Ivan Shiryai.

The Bishop's House is located on the south-eastern side of the Annunciation Cathedral, built in 1829 to replace the dismantled palace of the Kazan bishops of the XVII century. The Bishop's house served as the city residence of the head of the Orthodox Church of the Kazan Region.
The Cannon (Artillery, Arsenal) yard is located in the north-western part of the fortress and is adjacent to the fortress wall from the west. It was originally built as a single U-shaped building attached to the Kremlin wall. Now it consists of four buildings, restored for different periods.

The Kul-Sharif Mosque is one of the main attractions of Kazan. Restored from drawings and notes, it impresses with royal luxury and grandeur.The mosque is named after Kul Sharif, a politician, poet and philosopher who participated in the battle for Kazan, one of the great amirs and Seyids.The mosque is not only a functioning temple, but also a museum, where many tourists come. In order not to disturb the faithful, excursions are conducted on viewing balconies - to the left and right of the main hall.
